MICE will reach 30 Valencian towns this year: the different towns that will host this educational film festival will offer their neighborhood, especially local students, film screenings, cultural activities and other festive events.
The Mostra Internacional de Cinema Educatiu de València is warming up and preparing, just a few days before the programming of this 11th edition begins, the different activities organized for students and the general public who come to enjoy the cultural offering proposed by the festival. And for this edition, the nomadic and backbone character that has always characterized MICE is maintained, and there will be 30 localities that during these next two weeks will enjoy the audiovisual educational proposal offered this year.
València will be the main venue for this eleventh edition, which will also have screenings and activities in the municipalities of Almoradí, l’Eliana, Castelló de la Ribera, Geldo, Estivella, Guadassuar, Albatera, Xirivella, Càrcer, Alaquàs, Montserrat, Segorbe, Chiva, Catadau, Albaida, Requena, Quart de les Valls, Montesa, Quartell, Bonrepòs i Mirambell, Miramar, Alfàs del Pi, Vilafranca, Altura, Pego, Sagunto, Canet d’en Berenguer, Puig de Santa Maria and Montaverner.
The festival will begin its journey this Sunday, in Xirivella, with a tribute to the actress Susi Sánchez and the filmmaker Agustí Villaronga; It will continue on Monday with the children’s opening gala, in Càrcer, and with the opening gala in the afternoon at the Teatro Flumen, in València, with the tribute to the Castellón actor Guillermo Montesinos; and will end on October 26 with an awards gala at the Micalet Theater, also in the Valencian capital.
